26 February Tragedy

2012  Trayvon Martin an unarmed 17 year old boy is killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer named George Zimmerman after a fight which Martin allegedly started. Zimmerman is questioned in police custody and released because it cannot be shown who attacked whom. This is because once any evidence of self-defense is adduced the police must have probable cause the use of force was not in self-defense before arresting and charging a crime.
